We are looking at new Gel Polishes for the run up to Christmas, Autumn and yes very glittery festive colours, especially glittery for your toes.
As Gel polishes become more popular and are revolutionising the basic manicure and pedicure of old, I've gone through a few of your questions and hope to have given you some answers below to put your mind at ease. Please feel free to comment if there is anything I have left unanswered!
Q:What is the different between normal Polish and Gel Polish?
A: Gel polish is thicker and initially feels more like a Gel than normal polish, it lasts on your fingers for 2-3 weeks and even longer on your toes. It has a shiny finish and is dried under a UV lamp which means you have no drying waiting time..
Q: How can I take my Gel Polish off?
A: We will always recommend that you get your beautician to take the Gel Polish off, it will not come off with normal nail polish remover, it is designed to last. You could have a mini manicure to give your nails a break or go for a new Gel Colour.
Q: Why does it cost more?
A: The product costs more than a normal nail polish to buy, a mini manicure with Gel Polish will mainly consist of cuticle work, applying your layers of polish, drying under the UV lamp and should only be undertaken by a qualified technician.
Q:Pro's and Con's
A: Last longer, stays shiny, immediately dry, chip free.
If you are prone to changing your nail colour weekly this might not be for you. You should get a beautician to remove rather than removing yourself.
Our new range of Glitter Gel's will be on the website soon! With real live pictures....
